My passion for service and honest cooking began in my grandmother's kitchen on the South Side. I've spent 20 years honing my craft in various kitchens, culminating in the creation of Urban Hearth in 2016.
We opened on this vibrant Loop corner with a simple vision: to be a true modern tavern where every guest feels like family. Our approach blends the comfort of classic Midwestern fare with fresh, seasonal ingredients and global techniques.
